Customer Relations Officer

The Office is seeking to recruit a Customer Relations Officer whose role includes:

  • Answering customer queries of a financial services nature over the phone, by email or in person
  • Dealing with minor cases aiming for their early resolution or, when that is not possible, suggesting a course of action
  • Providing information about the Office’s complaints procedure and offer any procedural help thereto

The Customer Relations Officer may also be required to assist in other duties within the Office as may be directed from time to time.

 

Who may apply

Candidates are required to have the following minimum requirements:

 

Qualifications / Experience

Applicants are expected to have either or both of the following:

  • a recognised qualification in financial services or another finance-related subject recognised at NQF level 4 or better duly certified by the Malta Qualifications Recognition Information Centre (MQRIC)[1].  Candidates who will be receiving their qualification this year may also apply
  • relevant experience in financial services. Customer relations’ skills would be an asset but not essential
  • Recognised certification or proof of adequate computer literacy

 

Soft Skills

  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills in Maltese and English
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work within a team
  • Ability to listen attentively and to work on own initiative when necessary
  • A high degree of self-confidence

Applications are to be submitted by not later than 12 October 2021.  Shortlisted candidates will be required to attend for an interview by the Selection Board and possibly to a second interview if deemed necessary.

The Office will disregard any application received after this deadline. Applicants should assess and check before submitting their application whether they fulfil all the requirements as specified above.
